New Webserver Home
|
 We just moved the www.nwgamers.com website (yes, the one you're reading right now) from our trusty friends at One-Eighty Networks who have graciously provided us free hosting to our new trustier (I doubt that's a word) friends at NetRiver, also free hosting. Hooray free! Nothing much should change, but if you have a problem with the site, PM MrDaBomb.

New Maps for CS:S

Grab the new mappack for CS:S - MappackAAA.zip
It includes Egon_world, aim_ag_texture_jungle, aim_ag_texture_city, aim_ag_texture_castleball, and aim_ag_texture_canel_b1.

DODS mappacks
|
Here are a couple mappacks for DODS (Day of Defeat: Source)
DODSmappack1 (15MB) right-click and "save-as"
DODSmappack2 (31MB) right-click and "save-as"
Simply unrar the folders/files into your Steam folder that looks like:
C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\masterwoot\day of defeat source\dod

NWGamers has MAP PACKS!!!!!!!!

NWGamers has some map packs!
Avoid the in game download times for CSS! Get the map packs!
The first map pack contains many of the maps on our servers. This includes original textures and all the little goodies that go with them.
NWGamers-MapPack01.zip (91.5 MB - 19 Maps)
The second map pack contains some of the less frequented map and a bunch of extra maps that might be fun at lan parties. Who knows, if we like some of these, they might make it onto the public server.
NWGamers-MapPack02.zip (77 MB - 13 Maps)
Ximok recommends both map packs.
NOTE: People attending JingleLan will be able to grab these in the "JingleLan Map Pack" that will be available at JingleLan.

Remember when your Radeon 7800 was 'da bomb? Or your 9800pro was to die for?
Now you hear people saying "my X800 roxors". Tomorrow you may hear someone screaming about their "X1800".
We've had the 6000's, 7000's, 8000's, 9000's, X000's, and now the X1000's. The last two series read strangely as they really stand for "ten-thousands" and "eleven-thousands"--hence the 'X' and 'X1'.
